As the transfer window draws to its climactic conclusion, it looks as though these are the 3 players that Arsene Wenger has earmarked to solve Arsenal’s woes:
A relatively unknown forward who comes with a good pedigree as captain of South Korea’s national team. Currently on Monaco’s books, Chu-Young scored 12 goals last season, a decent scoring record in a team that was relegated. At £2.7 million, he ticks all Wenger’s boxes. Apparently the medical is taking place today!!!
Will he/won’t he? Dependent on who you trust, its either all rosy in the garden and Eden was in London for his medical yesterday, or Lille have pulled down the shutters and he’s not joining Arsenal for love nor money!!! Personally I think Wenger should pay the asking price and be done with it. He has made it abundantly clear that Eden is the future of Arsenal, so for once just pay up and shut up!!!
Just do it already!!! We need a good centre-back to compliment Koscielny/Vermaelen. He’s young, solid and has Premier League and international experience. We don’t want to miss out because of a last minute raid from Middle Eastland’s or Chelski hoovering up available talent with the money they found down the back of the sofa!!!
We’ve got the funds, all 3 players are needed, but we haven’t got the time. So let’s hope that Arsene and Ivan get busy with the fizzy and sort it all out by Wednesday!!!

It is obvious that the Arsenal organization doesn´t hold winning as its main objective. They are more interested in their new economic model; buy cheap, train the youngsters and then sell them for a profit. Wenger should be fired, not because he refuses to spend money (that is beyond his power as he is just a front man) but rather because he is not a good enough tactician to get by with the players he has. Blame can´t be laid on injuries or suspensions, MU used a whole group of youngsters and they still scored 8.
It has now all come to an end. Arsenal has become a joke and no descent player will want to play for a team with no soul. They should sell Van Persie while they still have the chance in this window and at least the organization will have deemed it a successful year along with sales of Fabregas and Nasri. Hey, nothing better than a huge profit (or whatever it is they are doing with all that money!!)

Yet another knee jerk reaction.Blame the board who forced the sale of players rather than pay wages which are not the going rate.Wenger will resign on Wednesday, new manager comes in with no time yo buy and can’t buy top quality player unrest with max exodus delegation for first time ever.bet you’ll blame wenger then as well.

We’ve got the perfect ploy to get Ede Hazard and thats the fact that Joel Campbell can’t get a work permit yet so, we loan Campbell to Lille for the season and they allow us to buy Hazard for £25 mil.

Why O Why did he snatch Park under Lille’s nose????
That is going to make the deal almost impossible.
Cahill should have already been bought, we lost a lot of time and points in the process.

The asking price for hazard? That only exists in the minds of idiot hacks and bloggers. He is not for sale. People just keep saying it so they have another stick to beat wenger with when it doesnt happen. Boring now… Move on. Why is it that 90% of people of people expressing opinions on arsenal online aren’t smart enough to tell the difference between fact and fantasy. Depressing…..

I wonder if spud fans and AFC fans are going to console one another in the pubs tonight?
Our team is deconstructing since the last 2 seasons, if not 3.
What is goin on at AFC?
completely disillusioned at the moment.

What happened today was the best thing to happen to Arsenal for a longtime. The board and Kroenke will now notice their profits going down the drain and sponsors drying up so will change their thrifty policy and start competing.
