Arsenal are reportedly considering a swap deal with Barcelona with Hector Bellerin and Emerson Royal trading places.
Its been suggested that the Arsenal right-back is keen to leave the Emirates this summer, with Inter interested in the Spaniard.
However, a deal with the Serie A Champions could not be reached and according to The Athletic, Bellerin is ‘growing extremely frustrated’ by Arsenal’s lack of efforts to secure him a move away from the Emirates before the end of the transfer window.
Its believed Bellerin is even prepared to take a pay cut in order to seal a move away from Arsenal, making it clear to Mikel Arteta that he does not want to remain a Gunner.
Arsenal are now said to be exploring alternative options and are considering Bellerin to re-join Barcelona in return for Royal.
Royal joined Real Betis from Atletico Mineiro in February 2019 but the deal was in conjunction with Barcelona, who initially paid £5.1m plus a further £2.5m to bring him to Camp Nou this summer.
The 22-year-old made his debut for the Catalan club last Sunday coming off the bench in Barcelona’s 4-2 victory over Real Sociedad.
Arsenal already have Cedric and Calum Chambers who can play in the right-back role but both have failed to impress under Arteta.
