A few Arsenal fans were praising Thomas Partey after the Ghanaian collected the club’s man of the match award following his performance against Manchester United.
The defensive midfielder won the prize following a poll on Twitter after the Gunners narrowly overcame fierce rivals 1-0.
Partey was in sensational form against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men as he put in an all-action display.
The £45m summer signing proved had the most touches, won the most duels, made the most ball recoveries and the second-most tackles alongside the rejuvenated Mohamed Elneny (via Squawka).
One fan claimed Partey was better than former Arsenal star, Alex Song among other players.

He was lauded by Sky Sports’ Roy Keane, who likened the player to his former foe Patrick Vieira.
Speaking during the channel’s broadcast yesterday evening, the Irishman claimed the 27-year-old can reach the heights of the former Gunners captain.
Supporters showed off their fondness for the summer arrival from Atletico Madrid as they reacted to a club post about him winning the man of the match award.
Here are some tweets:
More than deserved. Is there a way they can share it with Mohammed Elneny?
