Some Arsenal fans were lauding Ian Wright as the former Gunners frontman celebrated his birthday.
The club’s second all-time top scorer reached his 57th birthday and was celebrated by the club’s Twitter account, who put out a post to mark the occasion.
One supporter labelled him a ‘king’.

Wright enjoyed a glittering career in north London as he notched up 185 goals during just seven seasons, a run which saw him break Cliff Bastin’s all-time record of 178 (via Arsenal).
His time in N5 proved to be trophy-laden as he lifted four trophies in just seven years, including one league title, two FA Cups and a league cup.
The former Crystal Palace man has recently been speaking about his admiration for current manager Mikel Arteta, claiming his handling of the Mesut Ozil situation has left him ‘impressed’.
Supporters were full of loving messages for the once-great goalscorer as they took to Twitter to react to a club post.
