Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would welcome the signing of Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with the highly-rated 22-year-old in recent weeks and is said to be keen on a move to the Emirates this transfer window.
Arsenal have already tabled two bids for the Frenchman, but both were rejected by Lyon due to the offers being under the Ligue 1’s club £44million valuation of the player.
With the window set to close next week, Arsenal are expected to submit a third offer for Aouar’s services and Lyon are under increasing pressure to sell after failing to secure Champions League football this season.
And Aubameyang, who signed a new deal at the Emirates this month, would like to see Aouar join the Gunners this transfer window.
Asked if he would like the club to sign Aouar, Aubameyang told Canal+:
“Of course I am in favour [of signing him].
“He would add quality. Let’s see what happens.
“I cannot hide that, even if he is with Lyon.”
