Arsenal are among seven clubs interested in snapping up Real Madrid’s Achraf Hakimi in the summer, according to reports in Spain.
The full-back has earned rave reviews in the past couple of seasons with his displays for Borussia Dortmund whilst on loan from Real Madrid.
Real are apparently keen to keep hold of the 21-year-old with Zinedine Zidane ready to begin talks with the youngster about staying put at the Bernabeu when the current season concludes
But Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim Hakimi is not keen to be Dani Carvajal’s understudy and will look to move if this proves to be the case.
Dortmund are very keen to sign the Morocco international on a permanent basis and could land him in a swap deal as Real Madrid are interested in Erling Haaland.
Arsenal have entered the fray and appear keen on Hakimi’s services as do PSG, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Tottenham.
Mikel Arteta will want to strengthen his side ahead of next season and Hakimi, who has played 46 Bundesliga games over last two seasons at Dortmund, would make an excellent addition to his side.
