Arsenal reportedly want to sign Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic as a potential replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports.
With Aubameyang’s future at the Emirates currently up in the air, the Gunners have reportedly targeted Jovic as a possible replacement for the Gabon forward should Real Madrid decide to offload him this summer.
The 22-year-old striker has failed to live up to expectations since his £50million move to the Bernabeu last summer after a productive term with Eintracht Frankfurt last season where the Serbian international scored 27 goals in 48 games for the Bundesliga side.
However, the Serbian has fallen out-of-favour with Zinedine Zidane and has managed only two goals in 22 appearances in all competitions thus far.
But despite is unconvincing form, Mikel Arteta appears keen and could even sign him on loan to replace Aubameyang, who has yet to agree a new deal at Arsenal.
Chelsea and Tottenham are also believed to be interested in Jovic’s services.
