Arsenal started their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 victory at Newcastle United thanks to a solitary goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the star striker was found with a stunning deep cross from makeshift right-back Ainsley Maitland-Niles just before the hour mark.
There were plenty of positives to take from the match, most notably being a clean sheet with Calum Chambers pairing Sokratis at the heart of defence whilst Nicolas Pepe, Dani Ceballos and Gabriel Martinelli all made their debuts from the bench.
Gunners boss Unai Emery also gave starts to promising youth duo Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock who had impressed during pre-season and it was a particular moment from the latter which sparked a fantastic reaction from his manager.
Willock was shoved off the ball by Jonjo Shelvey before sprinting back to recover possession with a brilliantly-timed sliding tackle – a video later surfaced of Emery celebrating as if Arsenal had just scored a goal, which has sparked reaction from the Arsenal faithful.
One supporter compared his reaction to that of Jurgen Klopp who is well-known for his passion on the sidelines whilst a further fan added that it was something the club had been missing – ‘passion,’ ‘fight’ and ‘spirit.’
Others called his actions ‘amazing’ and ‘quality’ with one Gooner believing it gave the players extra energy which they needed.
Here’s the best of the reaction:
Klopp-ish. ??????

That is what we have been missing: Passion, Fight and Spirit. Will be interesting to see the Academy boys lighting up on the pitch versus the mob from up the road in Middlesex on 2nd September. Show the likes of Ozil etc. what it means to play against them in a derby!— 21st Century Boy (@21stCentBoy67) August 13, 2019
I love it
