They say you shouldn’t believe everything you read, and judging by these exchanges, Arsenal fans have stayed true to that useful piece of advice.

And despite an exclusive from The Scottish Sun, Arsenal fans are prepared to double-down against the report which suggests that Napoli are set to hijack The Gunners’ bid to sign for Kieran Tierney within the next 48 hours.
Not buying the claims one bit, the story has been laughed off by the supporters – who seem to believe that Arsenal remain in pole position for the left-back’s signature – as Celtic also look to bring in a potential replacement in Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo from Rapid Vienna.
Time will tell whether Napoli’s reported interest comes to fruition, with the report claiming only Arsenal to have tabled a bid for the Scotsman so far – a £15m offer that was rejected.
But with perhaps their own hearts set on bringing the full-back to The Emirates, these Arsenal fans are not letting rumours of Tierney playing elsewhere next season get them too downhearted:
