It looks like the latest player to tickle the excitement of the Arsenal fans is Gremio winger Everton Soares, who is reportedly subject of an enquiry from The Gunners – according to Brazilian football journalist Eduardo Gabardo.
With Gabardo also suggesting PSG are interested in the 23-year-old, Arsenal may face competition for the wide player’s signature – and there are some supporters who would love to see Unai Emery steal a march on his former club.
Soares has recently come into the limelight as a part of Brazil’s victorious Copa America campaign on home soil in which he scored three times – including the opener in their 3-1 final victory over Peru.
The forward has also been scoring for his club, notching three in the opening six games of the league season before joining up with the Brazil squad.
As Arsenal’s interest in Wilfried Zaha shows few signs of progressing beyond their £40m bid last week, these supporters see Soares as a more financially sound purchase – and have urged the club to take a chance on a player some fans tip to have a great future ahead of him:
Sign him up immediately! Will be cheaper and is much younger than zaha

He’s a much better option than Zaha he’s gonna be a world beater but it won’t happen
