Unai Emery has come in for major criticism from some of the club’s fans after reports in Poland suggested the Spaniard has no intention of putting defender Krystian Bielik in his plans for the forthcoming season.

Bielik had a fine 2018/19 campaign, helping Charlton Athletic towards promotion while on loan at The Valley, and continued his fine form for Poland Under-21s at the European Championships last month, where he scored twice in the group stage.
