Wilfried Zaha has not ruled out a move to Arsenal following a £40million bid from the Gunners.

The 26-year-old, who is currently at the African Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast, has become Arsenal’s number one transfer target in the past few weeks and had an initial £40million bid rejected.

But Zaha has not dismissed a potential transfer move to Arsenal this summer.

Speaking after Ivory Coast’s 4-1 win over Zambia, the tricky winger said:

‘I don’t know. We’ll see in the future.’

Palace want at least double the £40million stumped up by the Gunners and want to keep hold of their talisman having already sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United for £50million.

Unai Emery has been given around £45million to spend this summer before player sales after failing to qualify for the Champions League next season and will be hoping to persuade the Arsenal hierarchy for more money in order to sign Zaha.

Palace were believed to be angered by Arsenal’s opening offer but would be open to discuss a deal if the Gunners return with a better offer.
