Pre-season training is now well underway at Arsenal, and despite a lack of incomings so far at The Emirates, there may have been some slightly unfamiliar faces taking part as returning loanees and a fresh intake of youth joined the senior squad.

One of those is Calum Chambers, and although his loan spell at Fulham earned positive reviews, there were some Arsenal who feel the centre-back shouldn’t get too comfy in the Gunners first team.

Chambers signed for Arsenal five years ago, but has had a number of loan moves away after failing to consistently hold down a place in the starting XI – and some supporters feel his future does indeed lie elsewhere.

Several believe Chambers would be a deal sweetener in Arsenal’s pursuit of Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, with the defender receiving some supporters’ blessing to make the switch to Selhurst Park.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old was not without his fans – with some calling on Chambers to take his chance and work his way into ’s plans next season.
