With little to be said for Arsenal outgoings so far this summer, there doesn’t seem to be any mystery over why the club haven’t been able to offload one of their stars in particular.
After a call to sell Shkodran Mustafi was made on Twitter, fans seemed certain as to why he remains an Arsenal player despite a season littered with costly errors.
It seems Mustafi doesn’t have many selling points according to these Gunners supporters, who looked consigned to enduring another season of the German at the back of the Arsenal defence by highlighting that on last year’s performances, Unai Emery would do well to expect an offer for the 27-year-old appearing in his inbox any time soon.
Mustafi’s clumsiness arguably came to a head in April when he was culpable for a goal against Crystal Palace that cost the Gunners vital points as they finished a point outside the top four.
But despite allowing former club Valencia to claim £36.9m for his Arsenal transfer, supporters are left in little doubt over the centre-back’s chances of leaving the Emirates Stadium for a similar value in the weeks to come:
This clown will be here for the next 2 years he’s not leaving ????????

In order to sell Mustafi, a club has to be stupid enough to buy Mustafi first.

Possibly something to do with the difficulty anyone has selling anything that isn’t really that good. Just a thought.
