He may still be on the sidelines, but Hector Bellerin is certainly keeping himself busy as his injury lay-off drags into the summer months.
But it’s not getting Bellerin down, on this evidence. Ever outspoken, the defender was found almost bizarrely on a Paris catwalk modelling for Louis Vuitton as part of Paris Fashion Week.
The full-back is more than happy to flaunt his personality over Twitter and demonstrated that to the full with this somewhat unusual social update.
Sporting a bright pink hoodie and accompanying shorts, Bellerin’s suave appearance in the French capital was not unnoticed by his adoring Arsenal fans once the 24-year-old had posted a snap from the scene onto Twitter.
Bellerin’s absence from the Arsenal squad was harshly felt by the team as The Gunners’ top-four tilt faltered in the second half of the season – as Unai Emery’s side endured over half of their league defeats without the services of the Spaniard after his serious knee injury in January.
And it seemed the perfect opportunity for the Gunners supporters to urge the right-back towards a speedy recovery, as six months pass since he was stretchered off and his season ended in the league win over Chelsea:
