Supporters have been keenly keeping an eye on young Polish international Krystian Bielik, who has been in fine form throughout the last year, which he spent on loan at Charlton Athletic, and during his country’s current Under-21 European Championship campaign – scoring twice in the opening two group games.
With many Arsenal defenders coming in for criticism throughout the previous year, Unai Emery has already been reportedly on the lookout for someone to bolster the Gunners backline, but these fans will be hoping that Bielik’s recent form could force the 21-year-old into the manager’s plans for next season.
Having led Charlton to promotion from League One, his newfound goalscoring touch has clearly caught the eye of supporters who will be looking for something fresh in the new campaign.
Arsenal’s official academy Twitter account seemed to suggest that the player’s progress was not going unnoticed at the club – which prompted fans to press home demands for Emery to save a slot for the defender once he returns from the Euros:
Please keep him we cant sell him has potential to be a world class player

Tell that to @UnaiEmery_ … The likes of Bielik and Chambers deserve another shot in place of Elneny/Mustafi
