Arsenal fans seem desperate to clinch the signing of Dani Ceballos after reports emerged suggesting that the apparent Gunners target was available to buy on loan from Real Madrid.

With Arsenal’s finances in the shape that they are, these Gunners fans certainly saw the immediate upside to such a deal, with Real Madrid apparently reluctant to allow a permanent switch for the youngster, who is currently dazzling for Spain at the Under-21 European Championships.

As no damage to Unai Emery’s reportedly tight summer budget would be forthcoming, a temporary deal to bring the promising midfielder to The Emirates seems to be a popular choice among the Arsenal faithful – especially without the need to sell Lucas Torreira.

Some even went to the lengths of suggesting exactly how to pull a permanent deal off should Arsenal be left with an obligation to buy the 22-year-old, who signed for the Spanish giants in 2017 from Real Betis.

Although some fans pointed out that Arsenal’s previous loan signings have been more ‘miss’ than hit’, others certainly agreed that the opportunity to bring Ceballos to North London would be too good to pass up:
