As reports circulate that Arsenal are struggling to find a buyer for Mesut Ozil, it would be fair to say that hasn’t gone down too well with some of the club’s fans.
Ozil has come under fire at times during his Gunners career and despite the midfielder previously stating his desire to stay at the Emirates Stadium, some supporters have been expressing their own wishes to see the back of Arsenal’s World Cup-winning playmaker.
Struggling to make an impact in his first season working under Unai Emery at Arsenal, thanks to several injury layoffs and turning out-of-favour at the club, it seems as if some fans have become fed up with the German’s inconsistent performances.
With the club yet to sell en masse so far this summer, Arsenal remain restricted in this summer’s window as they chase targets to replenish their underachieving side that fell short on multiple fronts last season.
But it looks as if these Gunners supporters are going to have to endure the sight of Mesut Ozil for a little longer, with the team’s highest-paid player unable to catch the attention of potential suitors so far this summer:
