He may have scored over 30 goals last season, but it seems as if Arsenal fans are not all on the same page when it comes to the potential sale of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Manchester United.

With The Gunners currently cash-strapped over the transfer window period following their failure to reach the Champions League, some fans have been mulling over the possibility of selling their top scorer to Old Trafford, following ongoing rumours of United’s interest.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time Arsenal sold their Golden Boot-winning striker to Manchester United, having allowed Robin Van Persie to move in a £27.6m switch back in 2012.

But with Aubameyang part of a goalscoring duo, along with Alexandre Lacazette, that contributed 50 goals to Arsenal’s cause last season, it is no surprise some Gunners supporters are wary of letting history repeat itself – especially if Aubameyang were to emulate Van Persie in delivering the Premier League title to Old Trafford.

However, the prospect of considerably enhancing Arsenal’s transfer budget is certainly causing debate among the Gunners faithful, and judging by these comments, they’d be happy to get creative with a deal should an Aubameyang departure become reality:
