Another day, another transfer rumour. That’s how it is right about now for Arsenal fans as the rumour mill enters into full flow, constantly linking The Gunners with new players without anything concrete to get excited about – and it seems it is starting to get to the supporters.
Arsenal’s latest target is Torino’s Armando Izzo – who according to reports in Italy, is the subject of a £22m bid from The Gunners – with Everton also interested in the centre-back.
But after struggling to meet the demands of Celtic in their pursuit of Kieran Tierney, supporters are questioning the legitimacy of Arsenal’s approach for the 27-year-old – having apparently stalled at a £25m asking price for the Scottish defender.
It seems some have become so numbed by the wave of transfer rumours that the off-season inevitably brings, that links to new players at this stage are met with the expectation that Arsenal will not be able to get deals over the line.
Judging by one thread in particular, it looks like a mood is spreading across the Arsenal fanbase, with anticipation rising ahead of the club’s first summer signing – which has yet to arrive at Emirates Stadium with July just around the corner:
Yet won’t bid £25m for Tierney????

But not before we agree personal terms first, and then get cold feet because the player will cost more than 8mil
