Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Lorient striker Alexis Claude-Maurice with Unai Emery keen to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.
Emery already has the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette at his disposal. However, with the latter being linked with a move to Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, and Danny Welbeck leaving the club on a free when his contract expires next month, the Gunners boss will want to add another striker to his ranks.
It’s thought that Emery will once again be working with a strict budget this summer and is why the club are being linked with Claude-Maurice.
The 20-year-old, who broke into the Lorient first-team last season, was impressive from for the Ligue 2 side this season, scoring 14 goals in 35 appearances, mainly from a wide position.
Norwich are also being credited with interest in the France Under-20 international who is valued at around the £9million mark.
