Arsenal may be on the verge of landing Denis Suarez from Barcelona after the La Liga club confirmed the signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The former Tottenham midfielder sealed a loan move to Barcelona from Sassuolo with a view to buy in the summer, prompting further speculation that Suarez’s time at the Camp Nou could finally be up.
Reports in Spain claim the Catalan outfit are working quickly on getting Suarez out the door as they target a move for Boateng’s former Sassuolo teammate Stefano Sensi.
It’s believed that an agreement for Suarez’s departure is already in place and that the Spaniard will join Arsenal on loan until the end of the season, a deal which will cost the Gunners £2million in fees with an option to buy in this summer.
Suarez is out-of-favour at Barcelona, playing just 17 minutes of La Liga football this season, and the signing of Boateng all but confirms the Spaniard will highly likely depart in the upcoming days and would be happy to join Arsenal and work under Unai Emery once again.
