German minnows Rot-Weiss Essen will be hoping Arsenal cash in on Mesut Ozil in January.
The 29-year-old is being linked with a move away from the Emirates this January after failing to adapt to Unai Emery’s new system and style of play.
Recent reports suggest several clubs around Europe are keeping an eye on Ozil’s situation ahead of the January transfer window, with Inter Milan, Juventus and Manchester United named as potential suitors.
German publication WAZ, as reported by TribalFootball.com, claim Rot-Weiss Essen are eagerly waiting with anticipation over the possible sale of Ozil.
The Arsenal playmaker spent five seasons at Rot-Weiss Essen and as such will be due a hefty cut of any future fee from Ozil’s departure from the Emirates.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal would be willing to sell the former German international next month, but several reports claim he could leave for a cut-price £25million.
