Arsenal are keeping tabs on Keylor Navas’s situation at Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper helped Real Madrid to an unprecedented three consecutive Champions League triumphs but has fallen out-of-favour this season at the Bernabeu following the arrival of Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea over the summer.

The Costa Rica international has made just seven appearances for the La Liga club and is now said to be considering his options ahead of next month’s transfer window.

Spanish publication Fichajes, as reported by TribalFootball.com, say Arsenal are keen on the shot-stopper.

With Petr Cech nearing the end of his illustrious career, it’s believed the Gunners want to bring in a replacement and a long-term competitor for Bernd Leno and have identified Navas as a potential candidate.

However, Arsenal will more than likely make a bid for Navas next summer rather than in January as they have other important areas of the squad that need addressing.
