Arsenal are being heavily tipped to sign both Boca Juniors winger Cristian Pavon and Lille forward Nicolas Pepe, according to Ladbrokes.

With Danny Welbeck out of action for the foreseeable future, Unai Emery is keen to find a replacement when the January transfer window opens.

Both Pavon and Pepe have been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks, and both have impressed for their respective clubs.

Pavon, 22, has scored two goals in seven appearances so fa this in the Argentine Primera Division while also playing a key role in helping Boca Juniors reach the Copa Libertadores final.

The Argentina international is believed to be keen on following in Lionel Messi’s footsteps by making a move to Europe and Arsenal are said to be interested.

Meanwhile, Pepe has been enjoying a productive season at Lille, netting 12 goals and provided nine assists in 19 appearances so far.

And Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Apati, as reported by 101GreatGoals.com, has tipped the Gunners to add two new recruits when the winter window opens next month:

“This is far from Unai Emery’s ideal team but with a transfer window just around the corner, the odds suggest he could be bringing two exciting names to North London.”

Although Pepe and Pavon haven’t been named as the two players, the Ivorian is 7/4 on Arsenal being his next club, while the Argentine is at a short price of 11/10.
