Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly keeping tabs on Atalanta defender Gianluca Mancini.
The emergence of the 22-year-old has caught the eye of several suitors with his impressive performances this season for the Serie A side, where he has featured regularly. The young centre-back has also chipped in with three goals in his last three appearances and is highly-rated at Atalanta.
According to Italian publication Tutto Mercato, Arsenal and Dortmund sent scouts to watch over Mancini on Sunday against Inter Milan where Atalanta won 4-1.
Mancini is an Italy U21 international and started his career off with Fiorentina before Atalanta snapped him up from Perugia last year for as little as £174,000.
Inter Milan and Roma are also believed to be monitoring the Italian’s progress, but it remains to be seen whether any of the interested clubs make a move for the Atalanta starlet when the January transfer window opens.
