Arsenal are among nine teams scouting Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish publication reports that Real Madrid are monitoring the Polish international closely, while the Gunners, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli are also keen.

Piatek, who has been dubbed as the “new Lewandowski” by some media outlets, has had a sensational start to the season.

After moving from his native Poland back in July for just €4m, the 23-year-old has scored 12 goals in just seven games. Whether the striker is just having a purple patch, we will have to wait and see.

Playing for Cracovia last campaign, Piatek scored over 20 goals for the first time in his career, leading to Genoa taking a punt on the forward. So far, the gamble has paid off handsomely.

Reports in Italy suggest that the Serie A side have placed a €40m price tag on the striker; ten times what they paid for him just a few months ago.
