Arsenal are one of the teams keeping a keen eye on youngsters playing at the Under 17 African Cup of Nations taking place in Niger.

AllNigeriasoccer.com are reporting that the Gunners are scouting three Nigerian players in particular. Akinkunmi Ayobami Amoo, Samson Okikiola Tijani and Olatomi Alfred Olaniya are believed to be the subject of their interest.

However, it seems that Belgian club Anderlecht and Dutch Eredivisie side Ajax are also watching the trio while they play at the tournament.

Nigeria have already qualified for the semi-finals following a 5-1 win over Ivory Coast yesterday. They had lost their first match of the group stages against Burkina Faso 3-2.

It remains to be seen whether the Gunners will sign up any of the three players, but the London club do have a record of picking up players off the back of good performances at international tournaments.

Kelechi Nwakali was signed after his performances at the Under 17 World Cup back in 2015. He is currently at Porto on his fourth loan spell away from the Emirates.
