Arsenal have signed Jayden Adetiba after a successful five-week trial, according to the Sun.
The South African is only nine years old, but he impressed Academy coaches enough to be offered a youth contract with the club.
Adetiba was born in Nigeria but has spent most of his life in South Africa, as well as a brief period living in the UK.
His father John took to Twitter at the end of August revealing that his son was going to join the Gunners’ Academy:

Unsurprisingly, the youngster’s favourite Arsenal player is Alex Iwobi, who like him hails from Nigeria. The winger was born in Lagos before moving to England at the age of four. He then signed for the Gunners while he was still at primary school.
No doubt, Adetiba will want to emulate his hero by progressing through the youth ranks and making it all the way to the first-team setup.
