Arsenal remain in the hunt for further additions under Unai Emery and a new forward could be on the cards.
The Gunners may approve departures for Danny Welbeck and Lucas Perez in the final few weeks of the transfer window, with Emery believed to be eyeing a direct and pacy wide player to add to his squad.
TuttoMercatoWeb are the latest outlet to report Arsenal’s interest in Torino ace M’Baye Niang, as they state the Senegal international is available for a fee of €15m.
23-year-old Niang sealed a permanent move across Serie A from AC Milan earlier this year and impressed for his nation at the World Cup in Russia, where he scored one and provided an assist in Senegal’s three group matches.
His performances have attracted the attention of OGC Nice and Sevilla, who could rival Arsenal in the market for his services, although the latter are keen on a loan move – whereas Torino would prefer to sell.
