The may have closed last week but Arsenal’s work in the market is never finished, as look to secure the best young prospects.

A stern battle is emerging for the services of Republic of Ireland youth Elvis Azah, as The Daily Mail names alongside Tottenham, and in the hunt for the 17-year-old after he caught the eye in recent months.

Ghana-born Azah impressed in pre-season during time with Cardiff City, scoring a brace in an U18 match against West Ham, and is eligible to sign for a club in England after recently earning Irish citizenship.

Capable of playing on either flank or further forward, Azah is regarded as one of the finest prospects within Irish football and a fierce battle for his services looks set to go ahead for a youngster who previously spent time on trial with and Everton.
