Arsenal’s new manager Unai Emery has worked hard to rejuvenate his squad at the Emirates Stadium ahead of his first season at the club but harbours genuine concerns regarding the future of one star.
Wales international Aaron Ramsey has entered the final 12 months of his contract and Sky Sports have stated the Gunners will consider a sale this summer as they are determined not to lose his services on a free transfer.
Amidst this, Emery himself as admitted he is in the dark about Ramsey’s future but is determined to renew the contract of a player he sees as crucial to his plans in north London. Quoted by The Sun, he said:
“This is one question for the player, the club, but my opinion – I said to them – I think he is one important player for me. I’m very happy with him. Every day every training session he is with the ambition I want. He is working with quality. I want to work with him.”
