’s plans to finalise his market activity at have been handed a blow following the emergence of a European giant in the hunt for his prime transfer target.

The Daily Mirror states that have expressed an interest in signing winning midfielder Steven N’Zonzi from Sevilla after seeing their advances for Paris Saint-Germain’s rebuffed.

A deal for 29-year-old N’Zonzi is considered to be easier to complete due to his £40m price-tag, a figure that Arsenal have been reluctant to meet despite Emery’s desire to reunite with a player who starred for him during his spell in Andalusia.
