Spanish outlet Cadena Cope state Ousmane Dembele is furious with Barcelona following the signing of Malcom from Bordeaux, as he believes the competition for his position shows the LaLiga champions lack faith in him.
Dembele endured a difficult debut campaign with the Catalan giants after signing from Borussia Dortmund 12 months ago, spending the majority of the campaign absent through injury and struggling for form on his return.
The 22-year-old, fresh from winning the World Cup with France, is not willing to play a secondary role again this season and has a frosty relationship with Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde, who upset the forward after not congratulating him for his success in Russia.
However, Barcelona remain adamant that Dembele is not for sale and consider new signing Malcom to be a different sort of player to the former Dortmund man.
