Arsenal are in the hunt for top talents in the market, having signed five first-team players this window, and another defender is on the agenda.
The Gunners have already lured 15-year-old Joel Lopez to the club from Barcelona and are now in discussions to land 19-year-old central defender Stanley Nsoki from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports cited by GetFrenchFootball.
Nsoki has informed the hierarchy at the Ligue 1 champions that he would not be signing a professional deal in the French capital as he has no desire to be fifth-choice central defender in the pecking order, although it is not clear how he would fit in at Arsenal.
Emery currently has Laurent Koscieleny, Shkodran Mustafi, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Calum Chambers and Rob Holding as options within central defence, showing that the Gunners are well stocked.
Signing Nsoki may suggest that Mustafi could be sold, while Emery has touted Chambers to play in a defensive midfield role.
