The future of Arsenal ace Jack Wilshere continues to be surrounded by intense speculation, as the England international rapidly approaches the end of his contract.
Wilshere is said to be unhappy with the deal that the Gunners have put on the table, while Arsenal are not prepared to raise their offer due to the fan favourite’s consistent injury issues – which has alerted a number of sides.
However, according to Arsenal man Perry Groves, Wilshere will ‘definitely’ sign a new contract to remain with the Gunners beyond this summer. Speaking to SportingBet, he said:
“I think Jack Wilshere will definitely stay at Arsenal this summer. The hierarchy is trying to cut his wages but they should put him on a pay-as-you-play deal now that he’s got over his injuries and he’s getting back to his best.”
“There’s not many players who have the vision he has and everything he does is about moving forwards. Jack Wilshere would be a big miss because his soul is at the club and the fans love him.”
Wilshere has become a regular at the Emirates Stadium again this season, making 36 appearances across all competitions.
