Arsenal are set to undergo a wealth of changes this summer as the Gunners venture into an era without Arsene Wenger and it could see a number of first-team players leave the club.

Amongst those with an uncertain future is England international Jack Wilshere, who missed out on Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad last week, as he’s been locked in negotiations with the Gunners regarding a new contract for months.

While some have suggested a renewal agreement is close, French outlet L’Equipe state Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have emerged in the market as potential suitors for the 26-year-old and are monitoring the situation.

Set to be available on a free transfer imminently, Wilshere has risen through the ranks at Arsenal and established himself as a fan favourite, while the club have always been keen to see him extend his stay in north London.

Fans have also made it clear they want Wilshere to remain after he proved his worth by featuring 38 times across all competitions this season.
