Arsenal are seeking additions to their ranks this summer after another disappointing campaign and there’s a hole to fill in their attack following the loss of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United in January.

Recent reports have suggested the Gunners could get revenge by landing want-away France international Anthony Martial from the Red Devils this summer, although it’s clear the fight for his signature will be fierce.

Calcio Mercato names Bayern Munich as the latest side to join the hunt for Martial, who’s contract at Old Trafford expires in 2019, putting the Bundesliga champions in the fight alongside Arsenal and Serie A giants Juventus.

Martial has struggled for consistent opportunities at Manchester United since Jose Mourinho took charge and the January signing of Alexis has pushed him further down the pecking order, forcing him to fight with Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford for regular football.

That’s an issue for Martial, who faces a continued battle to secure his spot in France’s national squad due to competition with Ousmane Dembele, Thomas Lemar and others, which is why he’s seeking an exit at the end of the season.

TeamTalk states Manchester United will want at least €50m for his services though, which could present a problem.
