Arsenal have a stern test ahead of them this summer as they seek to improve their squad, after a woeful run of form this season has left them without a single point away from home in 2018 so far.

The Gunners were rocked in January by the departure of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United and, despite the captures of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, are in the market for another attacking ace at the end of the season.

Remarkably, French outlet Le 10 Sport claim that Arsenal could secure revenge on the Red Devils from snatching Alexis’ services by making a swoop for France international Anthony Martial.

Martial, 22, has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford during the tenure of Jose Mourinho, finding himself behind the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard in the battle for first-team football, which is leading the former Monaco man to seek a change.

Having not featured in any competition for a month, the future of Martial, who was signed for a reported £36m in 2015, remains up in the air.
