Plenty of speculation continues to hover above the head of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who could see his long spell at the Emirates Stadium brought to a close this summer.
The Gunners are poised to miss out on the Premier League’s top-four for a second season in a row, leading many to call for a managerial change at the end of the current campaign- despite the fact Wenger only penned a new two-year deal last summer.
Wenger has made it clear he does not intend to step aside and, if he does leave, won’t end his involvement in football and reports from France, cited by Sports Witness, present a very intriguing offer for the veteran.
It’s claimed that Paris Saint-Germain want to bring the experienced Frenchman to Ligue 1 to become the club’s general manager, which is different to a director of football role, in order to help with the club’s politics.
Wenger is known not to be a fan of a director of football model and has long been praised for his internal management, which could make him the ideal candidate to settle PSG’s squad of superstars.
