Arsenal are set to enter a new era at the end of the season following the news that Arsene Wenger will step aside after 22 years in charge of the Gunners and that news is set to have an impact on the club’s playing staff.

The Telegraph claims Aaron Ramsey, Petr Cech and Danny Welbeck are all waiting to see who Wenger’s successor will be before penning new deals at the Emirates Stadium, raising questions regarding the trio’s future.

All three Arsenal regulars are out of contract in 2019 and Arsenal are keen to extend the deals of Ramsey and Welbeck especially, while a decision on Cech is likely to be made by a new manager- who will decide whether to search for a new number one.

The services of Wales international Ramsey have already attracted plenty of interest, with Italian giants Juventus said to be keen, and Arsenal could face difficulty in retaining his services this summer if he does not agree to a contract renewal.
