Elneny in for Wilshere
Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey were both rested during the weekend’s victory over Watford and, in their absence, Mohamed Elneny had a fine performance. Defensively, Elneny is a much better option to Wilshere and this should certainly come into consideration.
Whether Aaron Ramsey is fit for the game remains to be seen but there would still be an argument to play Elneny ahead of the Welshman, as his defensive partnership with Granit Xhaka can frustrate an AC Milan side who have it all to do.
