Arsenal are set for a busy period during the summer transfer window and could make moves on the market to replace the void left by Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester United in January.

The Gunners landed Henrikh Mkhitaryan in return, and signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a club-record deal, but their attack has looked weak down the left-side as both Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck have failed to impress.

Arsene Wenger’s side were heavily linked with a move for Bordeaux sensation Malcom during the January transfer window and are reportedly ready to revisit the 21-year-old’s situation again in the summer, though they face rival interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich.

Speculation on a move is rife but Arsenal may have been handed a boost following a recent admission by the young talent, where he revealed he’s learning English. Quoted by The Mirror, he said:

“I want to play for an elite club in Europe, win the Champions League and play for the Selecao [Brazil’s national team]. When I play for a big club, my chances improve. I want to thank Bordeaux for everything.”

“First I want to finish the season with the best possible result and then I am going to sit down with my agent and family. Together we will make a decision. I am learning English, because it is the most important language in the world. Wherever you are, with English you can get along. So that is very important for me.”

Malcom seems keen on a transfer and the fact he’s learning English suggests he’s prepared for a potential switch to the Premier League.
