Arsenal run the risk of losing another fan favourite to a Premier League rival, as speculation concerning the future of Welsh international Aaron Ramsey continues to mount.
The former Cardiff City man sees his contract expire in the summer of 2019 and progress on an extension is yet to be made, leading to speculation stating that Ramsey could push through a transfer- potentially causing Arsenal to consider a sale this summer.
Because of this, The Daily Mirror state that Chelsea are monitoring the situation regarding Ramsey’s future at Arsenal and could make a swoop to bring him across London, following the footsteps of Olivier Giroud in January.
The 27-year-old, who has scored two FA Cup winning goals for Arsenal, is considered to be a crucial part of the Gunners side and losing his signature, particularly to a Premier League rival, would be a massive blow to the north London giants.
Ramsey will not feature for Wales during the upcoming international break but will play a huge part in the remainder of Arsenal’s season, as they seek to return to the Champions League via Europa League glory.
