Arsenal face a stern test this summer to rejuvenate their squad and they could face the prospect of losing key players, especially if the Gunners fail to qualify for the Champions League and experience a second successive absence from Europe’s elite competition.

Arsene Wenger’s side achieved a superb victory in last night’s Round of 16 clash against AC Milan, winning 2-0 at the San Siro, but still have work to do in the second-leg, whilst there’s also a number of strong sides remaining in the competition.

Amongst those being touted for a potential exit during the summer transfer window is young full-back Hector Bellerin, who has been heavily linked with a return to his native Barcelona- where he developed his career in the early stages before moving to north London as a youngster.

However, Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo state that the La Liga leaders are no longer interested in signing the 22-year-old, who has been capped three times by his nation, although they’re not the only side keen on his signature.

According to Bleacher Report journalist Dean Jones, Italian giants Juventus are ‘confident’ they’ll secure the talented full-back’s services this summer- which will leave Arsenal in need of further defensive reinforcements.

Bellerin missed the victory over AC Milan with injury and was also dropped for last weekend’s Premier League defeat to Brighton, with Calum Chambers taking his spot.
