Arsenal have been handed the potential opportunity to sign a prime target during the summer transfer window, with reports indicating that discussions regarding a new deal are yet to progress.
Spanish outlet AS state that Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak is yet to be offered a new deal by the La Liga giants, despite the Slovenian international attracting a wealth of interest as we edge towards the close season.
Arsenal, along with Premier League rivals Liverpool and European giants Paris Saint-Germain, are all keen on landing the highly-rated goalkeeper- who is currently tied to the Madrid-based side until 2021, with a whopping €100m release-clause.
However, Atletico face a huge summer at the end of the season as reports continue to suggest that key figures, including manager Diego Simeone and star striker Antoine Griezmann, will move away from the club.
Griezmann was a top-target for Manchester United last summer, whilst Simeone has been at Atletico since 2011 and may seek a new challenge.
