Arsenal face a major fight on their hands this summer to keep some of their fan favourites at the Emirates Stadium and the likelihood of another star leaving Arsene Wenger’s side is growing.

The Daily Star states Jack Wilshere has issued the Gunners with an ultimatum, giving his boyhood club one more chance to meet his wage demands before he seeks a move elsewhere.

26-year-old Wilshere sees his current deal expire this summer and Arsenal want the England international to take a pay-cut on his £125k-a-week contract, offering a deal that’s 25% less but one that is heavily bonus orientated.

However, Wilshere is seeking a more regular deal and he’s hoping that Wenger intervenes to push the club to meet his demands- with it stated that the 68-year-old Frenchman has so far not been involved with the discussions.

Instead, the negotiations have been managed by Arsenal’s legal expert Huss Fahmy and he’s shown no desire to improve the deal currently on the table for Wilshere.

Should Arsenal not present an improved offer, Wilshere will start to explore the options available to him elsewhere which include Everton, AC Milan and Juventus.
