Arsenal face a busy summer ahead, where there’s likely to be plenty of business in both incoming and outgoing deals at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are braced for departures, especially in midfield areas as they see both Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla have their contracts come to a close, whilst concerns are also present regarding Aaron Ramsey’s future.

Arsenal also lost Francis Coquelin in January, selling the Frenchman to Valencia, and also considered selling Egyptian international Mohamed Elneny last summer, amidst interest from Leicester City, but a major U-turn has now taken place.

The Daily Mirror states Arsenal are ready to hand the 25-year-old African ace fresh terms to cement his future at the Emirates Stadium, after growing to become an important part within the first-team picture this season.

Elneny continues to battle for football in north London though, due to competition that includes a rejuvenated Granit Xhaka, and speculation has linked Arsenal with a host of midfield recruits this summer.
