Arsenal suffered a huge blow in January when Manchester United snatched the services of Alexis Sanchez but the Gunners may have an opportunity for revenge.

The north London side still have a hole to fill in their attack following the loss of the Chilean and have reportedly held long-term interest in United’s Anthony Martial, who faces an uncertain future at the club.

22-year-old Martial has seen his first-team opportunities decrease significantly under the guidance of Jose Mourinho, due to competition with the likes of Alexis, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, and his agent has refused to rule-out a transfer this summer.

Speaking to Il Bianconero, Philippe Lamboley said:

“Will [Martial] stay in Manchester in the summer? At the moment, I cannot say anything else about it. His goal is to win the FA Cup and to cement with Manchester United the second place in the Premier League.”

Signed from Monaco for £36m in 2016, Arsenal will certainly have to pay a huge price if they’re to lure the French international across the Premier League.
