Arsenal face a busy period this summer and are at risk of losing a number of their most important players due to a range of different scenarios.
Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla are both entering the end of their contracts, Per Mertesacker is set to retire and take a role with the academy, whilst Hector Bellerin has been linked with some of Europe’s biggest sides.
The 23-year-old Spaniard has reportedly attracted the interest of Manchester United, Barcelona and Juventus, although the player’s agent has revealed he’s yet to have any approaches- and stated he doesn’t see the defender making a move.
Speaking to Spanish radio station Radio CRC, Albert Botines said:
“There’s no contact for Bellerin, no-one has sought me out. He’s happy, he’s recently renewed and he’s playing consistently. It’s true that every player always wants to grow, but right now it’s difficult [to see him leaving].”
Bellerin has struggled for consistency this season but remains an important member of the squad, with the academy graduate making 36 appearances across all competitions.
